1. DEI Spotlights: BLAST Career Fair is happening November 3rd from 10am-12pm in Hammons Student Center. The fair will host employers in Greene County who want to be inclusive and connect with students who represent a wide range of diversity. Encourage your students to attend as this could help them get an internship and with competitive employment post-graduation. RSVP: orlando094@live.missouristate.edu
2. Halloween in the Halls – The Residence Hall Association will be sponsoring a safe indoor Halloween experience for the children and grandchildren (ages 2 to 12) of all Missouri State faculty, staff, and students on Wednesday, November 2 5pm-8pm. Tours will start at 5:15 pm and the last tour will leave the Grand Lounge at 7:30 pm. The Pumpkin Patch, in the Blair-Shannon Grand Lounge will include check-in, games, and refreshments. All floors will be non-scary. Residents of our buildings will be trained to be tour guides known as Pumpkin Pals and will escort the children through the residence halls. 3. Mock Interview Day – The Career Center is hosting a Mock Interview Day on Friday, November 4th in the Plaster Student Union Ballroom West, 9:30am-1pm. Encourage your students to sign up to participate in this event. The last day to register is today, October 31st. Students can complete this form to sign up for a ½ hour interview time slot.

5. TRIO Upward Bound Hiring GA for Spring – TRIO Upward Bound is hiring a GA for the Spring 2023 academic semester. The GA is an integral part of the TRIO Upward Bound office. 6. Open enrollment and Virtual employee benefit fair November 1 – December 1 – Open enrollment is the annual period during which you can elect/decline/or make changes to your medical, dental, vision, and cafeteria/flexible spending plans for the upcoming calendar year. 7. Counseling Center Holding Open Forums – The Division of Student Affairs is happy to announce that we are bringing to campus four candidates for the Mental Health Clinician: 9-month and 12-month appointments vacancy in the Counseling Center. The candidates will be providing a 25-minute presentation followed by a question-and-answer session for campus and community members. The interviews will take place the week of November 7th.
