1. Get to Know Student Affairs – Student Affairs Event for New Employees – Join Dr. Dee Siscoe and Other Administrators for an Informational Overview of Student Affairs and “Get-to-Know” the Division for New Employees. Wednesday • March 8, 2023 • 3-4:30 PM – Plaster Student Union Ballroom East – RSVP to Priscilla Childress pchildress@missouristate.edu by March 7th. Refreshments will be Served.
2. Reminder for the Lunch and Learn on March 8th with Dr. Siscoe. If you registered to attend the Lunch and Learn on March 8th, the details are below. Due to the overwhelming response, we will be scheduling another Lunch and Learn to discuss this topic. Stay tuned for more information.

When is it?: March 8th 12noon- 1pm

What to do?: Bring your lunch… we will provide soft drinks and cookies to complement your lunch!

4. Potential Candidates Coming to Campus – In the weeks following Spring Break, potential candidates for the Director, Student Conduct position, Director, Counseling Center position and the Coordinator, New Student Orientation position will be coming to campus. Dates will be announced as soon as they are confirmed. We hope you will join us for the Open Forums for these candidates. Stay tuned for details.
5. Happy Spring Break! Our students will be on Spring Break March 13th-March 17th. We hope you get time to rest and relax, and get ready for the second part of the semester! Thanks for all you do for our students!
BONUS: Bear a Friend – Send a Sleuth (a group of bears) to a co-worker, friend, or professor here at Missouri State. You can send a bunch of bears for a one-time suggested donation of $5.00. The collected funds will go to the Student Emergency Fund. How does it work? Complete the form here and under the cover of darkness (or whenever their office is empty), your friends space will come alive with bears!
The bears will be collected from the office two days after the bearing has taken place. Make a friend/co-worker feel special and have some fun! They’ll receive a note saying “You’ve been BEARed” along with your message!
