1. Bookstore Annual Tent Sale – It’s finally here! The Bookstore’s annual Tent Sale is in progress. Today through Friday, on the Bookstore patio, you can find great deals on BearWear and other items at great discounts. Don’t miss this opportunity!

2. Town Hall Meeting, May 12, 1-3pm – Join us for a town hall meeting where we will discuss the academic realignment. This event will also be live streamed via Zoom. Zoom link to come. Live captioning will also be available. Plaster Student Union Theater. Open to public, current students, faculty, staff.
3. Multicultural Services Graduation Reception, May 11, 6pm, PSU Ballroom – Please join us for the spring 2023 Multicultural Services Graduation Reception. Students honored at the graduation reception will receive a kente cloth stole. These stoles represent their commitment to diversity, education and community at Missouri State University and beyond. Open to alumni, current students, faculty, staff.
4. MSU College of Agriculture Annual Plant Sale – Join the College of Agriculture for their annual Plant Sale on May 4th and May 5th , 8am-5pm, Karls Hall Greenhouse (Top Floor). This sale features many kinds of vegetables, herbs, flowers, tropicals, house plants, succulents and many more.
5. COVID Vaccines – Magers Health will be providing Pfizer bivalent vaccinations for those 12 years and older. Appointments are available on Wednesdays and Fridays, schedule here.
6. Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Heritage Month – May is Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Heritage Month. Missouri State University will host events May 1-9 to offer glimpses into the contributions, influence and enriching traditions of APIDA people. All events are free and open to the public unless otherwise stated. No registration is required. Learn more here.
7. Retirement Reception to Honor Dean Victor Matthews – May, 2, 2-4pm, PSU Ballroom East – Please join us as we celebrate Dean Victor Matthews’ career and wish him well. He began teaching in religious studies at (then) SMSU in 1984. He moved to the dean’s office in 2008 and became dean of the College of Humanities and Public Affairs in 2009.
