2. Fall DOSA All-Staff Meeting – Mark your calendar for the Fall DOSA All-Staff Meeting, September 13th, 8am in the PSU Theatre. The agenda will include a staff photo, the DOSA Awards, sharing of important information, and breakout meetings for our student affairs committees. 3. The Division of Student Affairs Student Advisory Board – The Division of Student Affairs Student Advisory Board exists to provide open dialogue and discussion between Missouri State University students and the Vice President for Student Affairs. This student board, open to both graduate and undergraduate students, has been charged with providing deliberate input to the Vice President regarding out-of-classroom experiences and student life. 4. New Student Affairs Staff On-Boarding – We will be holding our on-boarding for new Student Affairs Staff on September 11th, 3-4:30pm. All new staff members will receive an invitation. This event is a great way to get to know others new to the Division, visit with administrators and learn about the great work of the Divisions. Stay tuned for more information. 5. Nominate a Citizen Scholar – The Board of Governors is soliciting nominations for the 2023-2024 Citizen Scholar Award. This is the highest award available to Missouri State University students. Since the award’s inception in 2007, 95 exceptional students have been recognized for their stellar achievements with academics, community engagement and leadership. The nominations for the 2023-2024 Citizen Scholar Award have opened. The deadline for nominations is Sept. 7. Nominate a student now.
