1. Welcome Back – A note from Dr. Dee Siscoe – Dr. Siscoe shares information about the upcoming semester and happenings in the Division. Read the letter here.
2. Inclusion Awareness: A Conversation – Join us for “Inclusion Awareness: A Conversation” on Thursday, January 11th, from 4-5pm in PSU 313 for a panel discussion about inclusivity at MSU. The event will include a moderated q&a portion, followed by 30 minutes of live q&a from the audience. 3. Staff Appreciation Luncheon – The annual Staff Appreciation Luncheon is taking place on Wednesday, January 10th at Hammons Student Center starting at 11:30am. We hope to see you there.
4. Living The Dream, It Starts With Me! – Join us Monday, January 15th at 8:30 AM at the Mediacom Ice Park for the Annual MLK Jr. Day March. Doors to the ice rink open at 7:30am. The March will be followed by a scheduled program at the Gilloiz Theatre. If you are unable to walk, the theatre doors will open at 8:00am. We will be collecting socks, gloves, and hot hands donations.
5. Spring SOAR Sessions 2024 – Spring SOAR sessions are taking place today, January 9th, and Thursday, January 11th. Take a moment to welcome to our new students and family members as you see them around campus.
6. Spring All-Staff Meeting – The DOSA Spring All-Staff Meeting will take place on February 1st at 8am in the PSU Ballroom. Refreshments will be served. This meeting is an excellent time to visit with colleagues from the division and learn about programs, upcoming events and all that is going on in the Division of Student Affairs. We look forward to seeing you on February 1st.
