1. Spring All-Staff Meeting – The DOSA Spring All-Staff Meeting will take place on February 1st at 8am in the PSU Ballroom. Refreshments will be served. This meeting is an excellent time to visit with colleagues from the division and learn about programs, upcoming events and all that is going on in the Division of Student Affairs. We look forward to seeing you on February 1st.

3. February Lunch and Learn – Join us for our Lunch and Learn on February 21st, 12 noon, in PSU 317. The topic is Heart Health. RSVP to Peggy Jones at peggyjones@missouristate.edu.
4. IAT Spotlight: Conversation Circles, hosted by the English Language Institute, happens Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 and Thursdays 5:30-6:30. Check out this resource and refer students here: Conversation Circles Sign-Up (office.com) Join them for casual conversations with people from around the world, local community, and MSU campus community. Topics will surround culture, current events, holidays, and English idioms. It’s free and light refreshments will be served!
5. Save-the-Date for the annual Cookie Decorating Event! – Join the Division of Student Affairs on Wednesday, February 14th, 1-2pm, for our annual Cookie Decorating Event in PSU 317. Grab your friends and come decorate cookies while enjoying gabbing with co-workers and others from around the Division. More details coming soon!
6. Missouri State announces three finalists for president – Missouri State has announced the three finalists for the president of the university. Each finalist will be scheduled for a two-day visit in Springfield and West Plains during the second and fourth weeks of February. Detailed information regarding opportunities to meet the candidates will be posted on the Presidential Search website. Read more about the candidates here.
7. Employee Assistance Program Info – An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free, confidential service to help you and your immediate family members with a wide range of problems. It’s available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. EAP is administered by: Mercy EAP and UNUM. 8. Get Involved with a Student Affairs Committee – Are you wanting to get more involved with a Student Affairs committee? We have an opportunity for you! The Student Affairs Staff Development Committee seeks to provide personal, professional, and social development for staff within the Division of Student Affairs. In order to do so, the committee: Coordinates a comprehensive, ongoing professional development program and organizes and promotes opportunities for social and personal interaction among DOSA staff.
