Take a minute to get to know the Missouri State Bookstore!

Please outline the organizational make-up of your department. The Bookstore has 14 full-time team members. We have 12 active part-time team members and a few additional part-time staff that come in to work for us seasonally as needed. Our student staff is made up of approximately 90 students working throughout all of the locations around the campus that the bookstore operates.

Briefly describe the top three functions of your department. Number one is providing course materials for the students at Missouri State.  This would include books in all available formats, and any needed supplies and support materials necessary for academic success.  StreamlinED is our inclusive access program that provides convenient day-1 digital access to course materials at affordable prices.

Secondly, we are here to support school spirit through MSU BearWear and souvenirs.  We carry a large variety of clothing and gifts to support staff, faculty, students, community, and fans.  We support athletics, special events, alumni relations, and many others to ensure everyone can show their school pride in BearWear.  In addition, the Bookstore is here to support your department with any needs for special events or promotions.

Lastly, we provide technology options for students, faculty, and staff.  We are an Apple Campus Reseller and all of the Apple hardware we offer is available at academic pricing.  We also offer a Windows line of laptops for our customers; a line-up of Dell laptops that range from basic needs up to gaming performance machines.  Beyond the hardware, we carry an extensive line of technology accessories to help support your needs.

What is one thing that you want the campus community to know about your department and why? The Bookstore is your on-campus resource for any needs your department may have for properly licensed MSU merchandise. Just reach out and we are happy to work directly with you to provide any and everything you need to succeed; high-quality merchandise, all at reasonable prices!

How is your department Champions for Student Success? We are here for the students to support their academic and campus life needs! From what we offer at the bookstore to athletic events and just everyday personal needs, we do our best to offer everything our students need to be successful and enjoy their time in college. Our goal is to support the whole college experience for all of our students from day one of SOAR through to commencement day!
