3. Inclusion Awareness Team Spotlight: A baseline is necessary for any organization to assess its work, especially related to equity. The team at Racial Equity Tools have compiled this page of case studies, assessments, frameworks, and resources to help your organization better understand the current context of your equity efforts.
4. Missouri State is extending its financial aid deadline to May 1. Missouri State University is extending the financial aid priority deadline from April 1 to May 1. This gives students more time to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form, which determines their eligibility for financial aid and university-funded scholarships. 5. Solar Eclipse Viewing – On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States and Canada. In Springfield, there will be 97% totality at 1:54 p.m. Come and join in and enjoy snacks, games and eclipse viewing from 1-2:30pm at Plaster Stadium. 6. Fountain Day 2024 – It’s that time of the year again…time to turn the Fountain in front of Meyer Library back on! Encourage your students to join Traditions Council on Wednesday, April 10th from 11am-2pm for this fun event! Learn more here!
