The primary role of the Dean of Students Office is to assist students in accomplishing personal and educational goals. This includes helping remove barriers that might make those goals difficult to reach. Who We Are
Our department operates under the leadership of Dr. Andrea Weber, Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs and Dean of Students. Supporting her is a dynamic team:

What We DO
- We work with students who exhibit concerning behavior(s) through the Behavioral Intervention Team
- We offer several student care services including but not limited to referrals to other departments and resources, explained absence process, legal services, and emergency response assistance
- We manage the Sexual Assault Prevention training program

Recent Achievements
We’re proud to share some of our recent milestones:
- This fall, our team supported 233 students, addressing a wide range of needs and concerns.
- We recognized six lawyers for their long-standing volunteerism in the Bearisters program, which provides free legal services to students.
Goals for the Upcoming Year
Looking ahead, we aim to:
- Working on enhancing our case management workflow
- Reviewing the current Sexual Assault Prevention training contract
