1. Underground Spirit Week hosted by the Social Committee – Get ready for some mystery and fun, DOSA! We are hosting an “Underground Spirit Week” to celebrate the end of the semester. Our spirit week will run from April 28th through May 2nd. The will be prizes! And of course, competition! And who doesn’t like competition between offices! Individuals can participate alone and offices can participate or both! On Monday, April 24th, we’ll post the link to the form where you upload your entries for the competition! Have fun with this! What it is: A DOSA-only spirit week with themed dress-up days, kept secret from the campus community to see if they catch on and if they can guess the daily themes. And what are the themes? See this flyer for more info!

Why it’s happening: To add a little fun and excitement to the end of the semester, and to see how observant the campus community is.
How to participate: You can submit entries through the Microsoft Form as an individual or group for daily prizes as well as an overall champion for the week. All entries are due by End of Day on Friday, May 2nd and winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 6th. There will be prizes! See the judging criteria!
2. Lunch and Learns for the Spring – Lunch and Learns are back! All the Lunch and Learns will take place in PSU 317, 12noon-1pm.. Cookies and refreshments will be served. You can RSVP at: https://bit.ly/LnLSP25

3. Sign up for Bear Crew and House Calls – It’s never to early too volunteer to take part in Bear Crew and House Calls. Become a member of the Bear Crew and welcome incoming students and their families to campus by helping them move into their residence hall rooms. We are looking for volunteers from our current student body, faculty, and staff to help with Missouri State move-in on August 14-16, 2025.
House Calls 2025 will take place Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 5:15pm to approximately 8pm. The House Calls program is designed to reach out to residence hall students and give them an opportunity to interact with faculty, staff, and administrators on a more personal level. By visiting individual rooms in the residence halls, volunteers can welcome students, help determine if they need any assistance, and answer any questions they might have.

4. Join Residence Life, Housing and Dining Services for the Associate Director, Education and Development, – Candidate Presentations and Q&As – Residence Life, Housing and Dining Services is inviting you to meet the candidates for the Associate Director of Education and Development position. Each candidate will present a 20-minute training related to ResLife issues, followed by a Q&A opportunity. You will have the opportunity to provide feedback through an evaluation process.

Join the Office of Student Conduct for the Open Forum for the Position of Assistant Director – The Office of Student Conduct would like to invite you to the candidate open forums for the position of Assistant Director of Student Conduct. Both candidates will give a presentation on Best Practices in Student Organization Conduct followed by a Q&A session.

6. Let’s Celebrate Savonna Owrey! – Join the Bookstore in celebrating the retirement of Savonna Owrey!
