Happy Homecoming Week! Take a moment to see what’s happening this week in the Division of Student Affairs!
1. Ready…Set…Register! – Ready…Set…Register, organized by Student Success, is an opportunity to provide our students assistance as they get ready to register for classes for the Spring Semester. Students will also be able to earn a chance to win a $1000 scholarship for the spring semester! Share this informational flyer with the students you work with in your area.
At Ready, Set, Register, students will be able to:
Check for holds on their account
Review account balances
Confirm financial aid status
Meet with staff from Financial Aid, the Bursar’s Office, CAST, Adult Student Services and Student Affairs
Leave the event with a personalized registration checklist for the spring semester!
*To be entered into the raffle to win a $1000 scholarship for the spring semester, the student must sign in when they arrive!*
Three opportunities to attend Ready, Set, Register!:
Tuesday, November 11th: Foster Rec Center, 3 -5 p.m.
Wednesday, November 19th: PSU sidewalk, 11 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
2. Student Affairs M.S. Program Virtual Information Session–Do you want to know more about the Student Affairs in Higher Education (SAHE) master’s program here at Missouri State! We would love for you to attend our upcoming information session on Thursday, November 13th at 11:00 a.m. (CST), and bring an undergraduate student leader with you! You can register HERE.
3. Lunch and Learn – Mark your calendars for the upcoming Fall Lunch and Learn Series—free and open to all in Student Affairs and friends across campus. Bring your lunch! Drinks and desserts will be provided. Topics include:

4. Veteran’s Day Breakfast and Taps Project – Missouri State University invites alumni, students, friends and community members who are veterans to a special Veterans Day Breakfast and Taps Project on Tuesday, November 11th. The breakfast will take place in the Plaster Student Union Ballroom, with doors opening at 8:00 a.m., breakfast served at 8:30 a.m. and the program beginning at 9:00 a.m.
In recognition of their military service, veterans will enjoy a complimentary meal and hear from special guest speaker U.S. Air Force veteran Kevin Weaver, president/CEO and co-founder of The Warrior’s Journey. The program will also feature music and service songs performed by members of the 135th Army Band, a Color Guard presentation by the Pershing Rifles Company and a performance of the National Anthem.
5. Insurance Open Enrollment Period – Open enrollment is the yearly period to choose or change your medical, dental, vision, and flexible spending plans. Additionally, voluntary benefit carriers may provide guarantee issue during this period as well (determined yearly by the carrier). For the 2026 plan year, open enrollment is from Nov. 1, 2025, to Dec. 1, 2025. Visit https://www.missouristate.edu/Human/open-enrollment.htm to get all the details of what needs to be done for you to get your enrollment finalized. 6. Homecoming 2025 – Homecoming is just around the corner, with student activities starting on Sunday, November 9th – Saturday, November 15th! It’s going to be a fun time on campus as everyone gets into the spirit of this fun tradition! Some of the events taking place are Rockstar, a donation drive taking place all week, Field Day, Mo State Live, and the announcement of the Homecoming King and Queen at halftime of the football game on November 15th! And that’s just a few of the events! Here’s the calendar of events for you.

7. Chartwell’s Annual Holiday Luncheon – Join Chartwell’s for their Annual Holiday Luncheon on Friday, November 21st, 11am-1pm, PSU Grand Ballroom! You’ll enjoy a beautiful holiday luncheon with all the trimmings and a delicious dessert buffet. Email teritrickey@missouristate.edu if you have a part of 6 or more and need reservations. 8. Lunch and Learn with the OSE – Utilizing BearLink – Join the OSE on November 7th at 12noon for a Lunch and Learn on BearLink! The Lunch & Learn will focus on introducing university stakeholder to the BearLink digital platform and how each department or university functioning area can use Bearlink to track engagement, and collaboratively share events.
