1. Camp Claw Parent’s Night Out – February 13th – Camp Claw, a Campus Rec program, is offering a February Parents Night Out on February 13th! Your child enjoys an evening of camp fun and activities, while you enjoy a quiet Friday night! You don’t want to miss that! Visit the Camp Claw Registration site to reserve your spot. But HURRY! 2. Missouri State University Blood Drive organized by the Student Government Association – SGA is hosting a Blood Drive in the PSU Ballroom West, January 27th-January 29th, 11am-5pm. Stick out your paw and donate, Bears! The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is returning to the Plaster Student Union on the Missouri State University campus for a three-day blood drive. If you can spare an hour of your time, your blood donation can help save the lives of up to three people right here in the Ozarks — and earn you a great reward!
While supplies last, all successful donors will receive a limited-edition 56-Day Challenge sweatshirt and can register for the 56-Day Challenge!

3. Support Residence Life Student Leaders as they prepare to host the MACURH Conference at Missouri State – Student leaders in Residence Life have been working hard to plan and host the Regional Business Conference for the Midwest Affiliation of College and University Residence Halls (MACURH) at the end of February. This conference will bring students to Missouri State from all across the Midwest region, a great opportunity to showcase our university! The students are hosting a couple of percent night fundraisers – if you are looking for a dinner option on these nights, consider attending to help!
Cane’s – Wednesday, January 28 4-9pm: You must mention “MACURH Regional Business Conference” at checkout for us to get a percent of the sale or you can use code “RCFUND96” on the app/online. See the attached flyer for more information.
Bambinos (the location on Delmar St.) – Monday, February 9 4-9pm: We automatically get 15% from each dine in and carryout sale!
4. Save-the-Date! Bear Hugs and Cookies – With appreciation for YOU from Boomer!– Join us on February 18th, in PSU 308, 3-4pm for Bear Hugs and Cookies, a time to celebrate the staff members of the Division of Student Affairs. Have fun decorating cookies and visiting with your co-workers and friends from across the division! Stay tuned for more information!
5. Understanding Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities – Join the Inclusion & Awareness Team for a 1-hour session on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. This program builds understanding, highlights campus resources, and offers practical strategies for supporting students in academic and high-intensity settings. The session features four 10-minute presentations each followed by a Q&A.

6. Student Affairs – USA Day – Each year, the Division of Student Affairs has the opportunity to showcase our programs, staff and the work we do each and every day to the participants of the USA (University Staff Ambassador) Program! On Friday, February 6th, we will do just that, showcasing different areas such as the Student Resource Center, Garst Dining Center, Campus Rec, Level One Game Center, the Veteran Student Center and so much more. You’ll see us all over campus so have fun welcoming this group of staff members from around campus to your area!
7. Sign up to be a Giving Day Ambassador – Giving Day, March 24-March 25th, is almost here. For 36 hours, Bears everywhere will come together to support the people, programs and experiences that make Missouri State extraordinary.
You can get involved by signing up to be a Giving Day Ambassador! As an ambassador, you help tell the Missouri State story. You highlight the people, programs and experiences that matter most to you and invite your family and friends to support Mo State! You can post updates on social media sharing the stories of Missouri State! Send emails to your friends! An easy way to show your support for Missouri State!
