AIS was founded in the 1960s at MSU. AIS is the most diverse club, it promotes cultural values, and supports international students against discrimination. AIS also attracts American students who want to interact with other international students and learn more about culture. AIS plans and hosts activities that are entertaining and educational as students interact with their peers from other cultures. AIS has been growing significantly this year with the increase of number of members and students who are interested. Our International Banquet and Show is an annual event that we have been hosting for more than 30 years and it is the biggest showcase of International Students at MSU and other local schools. The event includes dinner and performances.  The banquet has attracted about 600 people and tickets have been sold out every year. We got attention from the media such as Newsleader, Ozark television and radio, and The Standard. On November 12th, 2011- the banquet and the show turned out to be a huge success once again.
