The purpose of Colleges Against Cancer- Relay For Life  is to celebrate the lives of cancer survivors, to support those fighting cancer, and to honor those we have lost. In addition, the organization will help raise money and resources to support the American Cancer Society’s cancer research efforts. This organization has grown so much in the past few years. This past year we raised about $10,000 more dollars than in years past and we had a significant increase in the number of teams that registered and participated. This organization is outstanding and has expanded greatly these past few years and should be recognized for its accomplishments. This organization should be spotlighted for all that it does for the community. Colleges Against Cancers hosts the big event Relay For Life which benefits the American Cancer Society that benefits many people in the Springfield Area. The impact this organization has is worthy of recognition and should be considered to be spotlighted this Fall.
