What you need to know
“Rally in the Valley” is a tradition that’s still pretty new, but that just means one thing: That you get to continue setting the tone for an event that’s drawn thousands of students to Plaster Stadium since 2014.
It’s all about setting the stage for the first football game on Sept. 1, which is free for students with a BearPass ID.
You’ll learn how to become one unit in the student section. You should yell all the time, but what should you yell when?
Hosted by Chance Nichols and Caleb Hearon of Missouri State Improv, the event will feature head coach Dave Steckel and your football student-athletes. In addition, you’ll see performances from the Pride Bands and Spirit Squads. If you’re one of the first 1,000 students through the gate, you’ll get free pizza and BearWear T-shirts.
#BearUp is a way of life. We’ll see you Tuesday.
