We build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. Missouri State University’s campus chapter of Habitat for Humanity brings college students together to do hands-on volunteer construction work on Habitat homes in Springfield, with no previous construction experience required. We involve students in the process of alleviating poverty housing in Springfield, harnessing the passion and innovation of the next generation to work toward a better world where everyone has a decent place to live. Students take part in Saturday build days where students from our chapter work alongside Habitat construction staff and homeowners to build safe, affordable housing for families in Springfield. Come check us out on campus the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month at 7:00pm in PSU 315! You can also find us on CampusLink and Facebook.
