The Bear Breaks Student Organization places a group of Missouri State University students in communities to engage in community service and experiential learning during their spring, summer, fall, and winter breaks. Students will perform direct service for community partners and learn about social issues that are translated to the Public Affairs Mission of Missouri State University. The objectives of the Bear Breaks student organization are to learn about the problems in various communities, learn about new communities in which students may not have had previous contact, and become a more active citizen.
