Yesterday was our exploring day and also the last full day in Bangkok. I went to a big shopping center named MBK. In oder to get there, we used both MRT and BRT as our transportation toos. I did have good impression with both transportation systems. I think transportation to the city is like artery to the body. In oder to operate efficiently, the city has to provide reliable and variable transportation methods.
MBK has a lot of traditional Thai stuff on sale. I bought three Thai silk scarves as present to my mom and two grandmas. I notice that bargining in Thailand is much easier compared to in Vietnam and I can easily cut the trade price to 20% of the original price. The vendor owners are usually super nice and like to say hi to me when I walked across. But their English usually not as good as those in Vietnam.
All in all, it was a great afternoon and I enjoyed shop there.
