I’ve been excited about the trip even before spring semester started! I can’t wait to experience a different culture and landscape and I’m excited to learn more about Vietnam as we begin preparing for the trip.
Some of the worries I have though is food and water in terms of food sanitary but also difference of taste. A type of dish that I found online was balut (picture below; via Wikipedia) which is a developing embryo duck/chicken. It’s also common around other South East Asian countries as well. I’m not sure if I would be willing to try it but it sure looks interesting!
I love coffee, so I can’t wait to have Vietnamese ice coffee in Vietnam
There’s more Vietnamese food to try; the blog “Wandering Chopsticks” complied a list of “100 Vietnamese Foods to Try” and a lot of them look very yummy:
