2 weeks from today a few of this group are going to be walking across the stage receiving a piece of paper that represents one of the greatest accomplishments in their lives. In 15 days several of us are going to be embarking on an adventure that we might not have even considered a year ago and this trip has the potential to greatly impact each of us as individuals and as a group. All of these accomplishments and adventures shape us into who we are, who we will become, and the way we will view the world as we develop our career paths and goals in life. I am humbled by this opportunity and glad I get to experience it with all of you. I can only imagine the stories that will last a lifetime from this trip! Good luck these next 14 days, the grind will be worth it when we are on that plane at the end!!!

Before we leave for our trip in 2 weeks I have a 12 page paper due, article abstract, and three tests this coming week. I am holding on to the light at the end of the tunnel. You are right, a year ago I would have never thought that I would be going on a trip such as this. A year ago I finished my last semester at Longview Community college in Kansas City and was just excited that I would be moving on to a bigger and better university the following semester. Little did I know I would commit myself to this trip. I will always remember this trip, and it will be considered a spur of the moment decision because I was one of the last if not the last person to sign up for this trip last semester. I am so happy and excited that the day is finally here, but there is still much to be done before the fun begins. Good luck with the remainder of you semester.
