Today, a group of us went to Sentosa Park. The park is really nice. But it was really hit, so it was kind of hard to enjoy it fully. The park has a ton of rides as well as many modern amenities. While we were there, we ride the Luge which was pretty fun but a bit short. Plus, several of us were a bit mad all of the slow Asian drivers that we had to slow down for.
After grabbing lunch, most of the group headed back to the hotel to cool off before our flight to Bali. Phil and I decided to go check out the Gardens by the Bay. While we didn’t pay to go into any of the attractions, it was still quite impressive to stroll around the grounds. I was also struck by how impressive the designs of many of Singapore’s are. Almost every building has something about it that makes it stand out. I also noticed the continuing construction going on all around the city. It’s clear that Singapore has a lot more growing to do!
Maybe one day I’ll get to see how quickly Singapore changes, but for now we’re off to Bali, Indonesia!
