The first day in Bali was as hot as Singapore. Our tour guide is called Ketut, and he is a middle age and friendly man.
For my very first time in Bali Ketut took us to a beautiful temple in Tabanan. Usually there are two doors in a temple. We were only allowed to go through the first door because we are tourist and not real believers. The locals consider it unrespectful for people entering with no faithful purpose. We could still see the some parts of the inside temple from the low wall. The temple was set by a lake and the view was pretty.
After lunch we arrived at Tanah Lots Temple and waiting for the sunset. The temple was right by the bay of Indian Ocean. It was 6:00 when the sunset got really intense. The sky was bright but still filled with blue, while the sun was orange and turning red. Along with those big waves, I felt both peaceful and my tininess.
Baili gave a good first expression with its culture and nature.
