Later in the day we went to the beach that Eat, Pray, Love had been filmed at. The waters felt great there and it was so hot, everyone wanted to swim but our tour guide was going to take us to another beach to swim at. We had lunch at their Cultural Center and there were some performances going on that we caught glimpses of.
We went to a beach in the afternoon and the waves were crazy hard. I thought they could sweep us away if we weren’t careful enough. It was lots of fun for the surfers though. We also got massages at the beach for a good price. After being tired from swimming it was just nice to relax on the beach.
For dinner, a couple of us decided to stay around the hotel at eat. We had a chance to eat some Western food after eating Asian for the last weeks. It was a great bar/restaurant that had the best steak I’ve had overseas served with delicious mashed potatoes. At night, Nicole and I went to get some sand and water from the Indian ocean. It was such a great night, I think I’ll remember it for the rest of my life.
