After finally getting a full night of sleep, we woke up this morning and ate breakfast at the hotel! After breakfast we visited one of the local universities in Ho Chi Minh. It was a lot of fun to interact with the students and add them on social media. We had really interesting conversations about our different lifestyles. I learned a lot about their culture and life as a student in Vietnam. After the school, we went to the US consulate to speak with US diplomats, present of information, and have more conversations with people from the community! It was a busy day, but I learned a lot! On top of all the activities today, we also melted in the heat! Vietnam is hot and humid. Looking forward to seeing the beach tomorrow and cooling off!

Sarah,
I would definitely agree that the Vietnam climate is hot and humid and Bao said that it was there hottest season of the year! I thought it was crazy that the students were wearing jeans and not sweating at all! It was very common to wear long sleeve to protect from the sun and masks to protect from pollution. I’m ready to see the chocolate factory!
