The rain in Maldives comes strong and fast, it has been rained all morning. So I start to repackage in the room. I would like to share something I heard from local people. This month is called Ramadan mouth, which is the holy month of fasting. During this month, everyone won’t eat anything during the daytime. Their breakfast is after 7:30 pm. At the end of Ramadan, they will celebrate Eid festival. This Muslim festival can be said to be the Islamic equivalent of Christmas. They are the most important religious holidays celebrated by Muslims worldwide. My dive instructor wife is a British, and she told me all these. She has come to Maldives for 7 years. She also told me that the least favorite part to live on this island is the privacy. Even when she just want to have a walk on the beach, she hardly to find her own space and time.
