Vietnam is famous for their cuisine, which, unlike Bhutanese food, can be found around the world. It is regarded as one of the most healthy cuisines in the world, which leads to a healthy society. Condiments, sauces, and seasonings are important to meal-times in Vietnam: shrimp paste, fish sauce, chilies, and bean sprouts, to name a few. Meals always include steamed rice, a staple to many Asian cultures. The foods in Vietnam are very culturally based, and are paired to have meaning. Noodle soups, like Pho, are also very common. Spice is commonly used, making many dishes “hot.” I am ready to try some of these foods for myself!
