I’ll be posting a lot of my blogs in a burst here as I’m finally able to get some consistent wifi. We toured some of Luang Prabang in the morning. We got to see some very cool buddhist fixtures and the President’s Palace. Early in the morning I also woke up to watch the offerings to the Buddhist monks. All of this was a very interesting experience, and I feel like I got a relatively good feel of the culture considering the short time we were there. While touring, we also got to see an amazing view of Luang Prabang. The walk up the stairs caused me to sweat more than I ever have before, but it was worth it. After touring the city, we had a 7 hour drive to Xiangkhouang. The drive was beautiful and worth it. I did get a little carsick, but not compared to some of the others. We did get some great pictures along the way. Despite the hotel being far from ideal, the drive made me tired enough that I got some great sleep.
