I absolutely love flying and being able to see the views from up high, so I’m very excited to fly. The only thing I need to get myself prepared for is the length of the flight. First, I’m thinking to pack puzzles for myself, my ipad mini (for books), and maybe some dramamine. Luckily, international flights tend to have free movies of endless amounts it seems like, so that should be covered for myself. My main worry is sitting for so long, I have back and hip issues (which I don’t like to stop me) but sitting for too long will make my pain worse. I will need to walk around the plane every now and then to keep my muscles somewhat loose, so if you see me doing so, don’t be shocked. I plan to also bring some ibuprofen just in case. Either way I’m beyond excited to be a part of this and have the ability to fly to Fiji in general, so I will be prepared!

I have been flying around a lot and sitting for hours is such a pain. I traveled from the U.S. to Vietnam back and forth couple times so I had multiple flight that 20 plus hour. Most of the time I got the window seat. I can see the clouds and sky. It just really beautiful from that point of view.

Lauren, I have never been on a flight as long as this one so I am interested to see how it will go. I will definitely want to get up and walk around a few times as well. I plan on packing my kindle, a small neck pillow, and some hand sanitizer and snacks to help get me through the long flight. I am also hoping to be able to see out the window when we land in Fiji. It’s always really cool to get a bird’s eye view!

The length of the flight is something that makes me nervous. my legs go to sleep very easily. I also have problems with getting cramps in my hips if I sit for a long period of time. I told my self to make frequent trips to the bathroom. I would like to have a window seat so I could look at the view, but I think having an aisle seat would work better for me.
