Melbourne day 4
The last day in Melbourne is bitter sweet. I am a sad to go home but I am also ready to leave. Getting a tour of the Elgas plant was cool! The men giving us a tour were so nice and informative. There was a flan light at the top of a tall stack. The flam was there to control the pressure of the sphere. If the flam got any bigger they were biting off excess or needing to lower a lot of pressure on the sphere. There is so much care and technology that goes into keep the spheres at the right pressure. Making the spheres were at the right temperature so they don’t combust. Elgas was a great example for marketing. How they swallowed with there competition and eventually worked their way to the top of the gas chain in Australia.
