Today was a travel day. We left Ho Chi Minh around 9:30 AM, a 5 hour layover in Bangkok and then arrived in Yangon, Myanmar in the evening hours. We have a good group to travel with. Today is our first free day to roam Ho Chi Minh city. So far we have pretty much traveled by taxi or bus in this massive city. So today most of us ventured out by foot to get a feel for the city. One of the firms slogans is "In everything, but hidden", Engineers play huge role in daily life, lovely to hear a little about all that they do here in Vietnam. Today we rose early to attend the floating market. It was a brief visit, but it was neat to see the river culture and watch the exchanges of commerce. Got some great shots on the river.
