Today we visited the first university in Vietnam called Temple of Literature, this university was really pretty. We also visited the presidential palace of Ho Chi Minh, which was a huge yellow house. This morning we got off the train and arrived in Lao Cai where we had breakfast. We then started our drive to Sapa. The drive to Sapa was absolutely amazing it was all country side with a lot of rice fields. The first stop in Sapa was a big market made up of two floors. Today we depart from Vientiane. On the way out of the city we stopped and saw some popular sites. The sites we saw in Vientiane was the oldest building in Vientiane called the sikimet, Buddha park which had a variety of different statues, and Ho Phra Ked which had a beautiful temple. Today we visited another site of the Plain of Jars. We also visited the information center to get all the history behind the Plain of Jars. Today was the day we departed from Xiangkhouang. Today started early for the departure to the plain of jars. We visited 3 different sites that had the stone jars on them. It was an adventure going up to these sites because we were going up a lot of different walk ways that looked like it wasn’t often used by tourist.
