Today I woke up early like always and tried to make the best out of breakfast. I ate four pieces of toast, two with butter and two with jelly. We started the journey to Punakha from Thimphu today. First, we stopped to see a Dzong in Thimphu, an old fortress. We didn’t unload the bus, but had a picture opportunity. June 3rd I was so tired today. We went to Dochula pass and we took such a long time to get to the next destination. Today we went to the National Memorial Chorten. I saw lots of people praying inside or outside. It was built in the memory of his majesty the third Druk Gyalpo Jigme Wangchuck. Today we awoke to eat breakfast provided by the hotel. A buffet consisting of an array of items. It was very good. We then loaded the bus with our driver and tour guide.
