Today we depart from Vientiane. On the way out of the city we stopped and saw some popular sites. The sites we saw in Vientiane was the oldest building in Vientiane called the sikimet, Buddha park which had a variety of different statues, and Ho Phra Ked which had a beautiful temple. After that it was time to head to the airport and get on our flight to Hanoi on to France. I … [Read more...] about June 2nd

After lunch, where I had some delicious black … [Read more...] about Last Day of Program

While hiking through the Plain of Jars we also got to see a cave that was used during the war by American soldiers to take shelter from the enemy. Today was also our last day in Phonsvan and then we flew to Vientiane. Vientiane has … [Read more...] about June 1st 2019

Today is the last day in Phonsavan, Laos and we explored site one of the Plain of Jars. We were able to go inside the cave where bodies were cremated to be placed inside the jars. They use the cave as a memorial site and light incense to honor loved ones who have past. We proceeded to walk around and look inside the jars to see if they had human remains still, but they did not. … [Read more...] about 6-1-19
