FUN FACT: Study Away doesn’t only send MSU students abroad; we also welcome several international students to MSU each semester!
Welcome to week three students! With classes now in full swing, we figured that we would show off some of our international students and what the Study Away office has been up to. We started week one by heading down to Table Rock lake for staff orientation and learning the ins and outs of advising prospective students about studying abroad.
The week ended by moving in our new international bears! The graduate assistants and global ambassadors worked hard all week with driving out to the airport to welcome our students and helping them move into their residence halls.
Now, two weeks later, a lot of our students have made friends with American students and joined different organizations. They’re also traveling quite a bit with some going to places like Branson, MO and San Diego, CA!
Our students for Fall 2018 come from Japan, Sweden, Australia, Germany, Belgium, Finland, France, Lithuania, Ireland, and Austria!
Have you ever thought about traveling to any of these countries? Stop by our office and we can tell you how you can!
