Elizabeth Strong, Director of Study Away Programs, has successfully completed the Professional Certification in Education Abroad Program. This certification marks her effective demonstration of the ability to articulate and apply the Standards of Good Practice for Education Abroad and a commitment to professional excellence and ethical conduct.

Elizabeth shared her thoughts after the recognition:

“After spearheading Missouri State University’s Quality Improvement Program (QUIP) team in 2018, the Forum recognized Missouri State in 2019 for meeting the field’s Standards. This positive learning experience led me to pursue this certification, and I was pleased to virtually join colleagues for content-rich workshops and enriching conversations in 2020. The subsequent module assignments and culminating project were capstone experiences. I look forward to building upon this professional development opportunity as a Forum Certification Assessor and as education abroad participation evolves in 2021 and beyond.”
