Totally RED! Opens tonight!

September 20, 2012 by Mark Templeton

Totally RED! PosterPrepare to embark on an entertaining & illuminating Fantastic Journey with Missouri State University Theatre and Dance. Tonight we open the first stop on our journey with a production of Totally RED! This production features Red Riding Hood and the wolf as you’ve never seen them! The familiar story of wit and deception is retold in several styles, ranging from storybook to melodrama, 1680s Elizabethan to 1980s hip-hop and American musical genres. With a street-smart heroine and a ravenous poser on the loose, this humorous new twist on the beloved fairy tale is anything but Grimm! All performances occur in the Craig Hall Balcony Theatre. September 20-30 at various showtimes. Click through to the Theatre and Dance website for specific performance times.
