The inspiration for this piece came from three things: music (the dynamics and versatility of a full orchestra), location (exploration on how many ways the space could be used), and lastly for the dancers to have fun. Through the editing process the choreographer zeroed in on music led decisions, which inspired her to utilize color play.

WHO’S WHO IN THE COMPANY
Katie Allison (Dancer) Kimberling City, MO. Katie is a senior BFA Dance major. She was seen at many Missouri State University productions including Cats as Sillabub; PreVaIL – Fall Dance Concert as Choreographer; and Sightlines, Parts of the Whole, and Senior Projects as Dancer. Katie is Co-President of Mo State Dance Co, and is a multi-scholarship recipient for the Leslie Irene Coger, Jean John Johnston, and Cheryl Love Miller Scholarships through Missouri State.
Biririana Baland (Dancer) Grand Island, NE. Biririana is a sophomore BFA Dance major. She holds credits with Arts Ballet Academy as various roles in The Little Mermaid, and with Springfield Ballet as Maid in The Nutcracker. Biririana is an MSU Inclusive Excellence Scholar.
Abby Ball (Dancer) Raymore, MO. Abby is a freshman BFA Dance major. She was recently seen at Missouri State University as a Dancer in the 2020 Fall Dance Concert. Abby also holds credits at Peculiar High School as Choreographer in Guys and Dolls, Grandma Kurnitz in Lost at Yonkers, and Penelope Toop in See How They Run. She made the 2020 Dean’s List at Missouri State.
Sarah Crain (Dancer) Willard, MO. Sarah is a senior Psychology major. She holds credits at Missouri State University as Dancer in the 2019 Fall Dance Concert and 2018 Spring Dance Concert.
Bailey Doran (Dancer) Springfield, MO. Bailey is a senior double-major in BS Theatre and Dance. She holds credits at Missouri State University as Choreographer in the 2020 Fall Dance Concert, Hermione in Because I Am Your Queen, and Sarah in Blind Harassment. Bailey also holds credits with Spectra Theatre Co. as Props Designer for Head Over Heels and Mariana Wheelan in Spring Awakening. At Springfield Contemporary Theatre, she was seen as Florence Gill and Opium Den Succubae in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Bailey is a recipient of the Theatre Regents Scholarship at Missouri State.
Elizabeth Drake (Dancer) Dallas, TX. Elizabeth is a junior double-major in BFA Acting and BS Dance. She holds credits at Missouri State University as Lena Truit in The Rimers of Eldritch, and Electra/Victoria’s Understudy in Cats. Elizabeth also holds credits with Spectra Theatre Co. as Thea in Spring Awakening, and Ensemble/Dance Captain in Head Over Heels.
Denali Ford (Dancer) Zion, IL. Denali is a junior BFA Dance major. She holds credits at Missouri State University as Dancer in the 2018 Fall Dance Concert. Denali is a recipient of the Board of Governors Scholarship through Missouri State.
Hattie Geltemeyer (Dancer) Rogersville, MO. Hattie is a junior BFA Dance major. She was recently seen in the Missouri State University productions of the 2020 Fall Dance Concert and the 2019 Fall Dance Concert: Prevail as Dancer. Hattie also has credits with Springfield Ballet as Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast (Ballet), Dancer in Nick Cave Contemporary Dance Response Piece, and Snowflake/Flower in The Nutcracker. She holds the title of Fundraising Director for Mo State Dance Co., and is a recipient of the Dance Regents Scholarship through Missouri State.
Elyssa Hallgren (Dancer) Springfield, MO. Elyssa is a junior BFA Dance major. At Missouri State University, she holds credits as Dancer in the 2020 Fall Dance Concert, 2019 Fall Dance Concert, 2019 Spring Dance Concert, and 2018 Fall Dance Concert.
Loren Limas-Currea (Dancer) Kansas City, MO. Loren is a senior. She was recently seen at Missouri State University as a Dancer in 10 Hairy Legs Residency, the 2020 Spring Dance Concert, and the 2019 Fall Dance Concert. Loren is a recipient of the Inclusive Excellence Leadership Scholarship.
Gabrielle Lunn (Dancer) Fayetteville, AR. Gabrielle is a junior Dance major. She was recently seen at Missouri State University as Choreographer in the 2020 Fall Dance Concert, Dancer in the 2019 and 2018 Fall Dance Concerts, and Carbuckety in Cats.
Claire Marshall (Swing) Yorba Linda, CA. Claire is a freshman BFA Musical Theatre major. She holds credits with Yorba Linda High School as Missy Miller in The Marvelous Wonderettes, and Jerusha Abbott in Daddy Long Legs. Claire is a recipient of the Board of Governors Scholarship through Missouri State University.
Allison Meier (Dancer). Allison is a senior BFA Dance major. She holds credits with Missouri State University as a Dancer in the 2014, 2015, 2016, 2020 Fall Dance Concerts; Legally Blonde the Musical; and the 2016, 2017, 2021 Spring Dance Concerts. Allison also holds credits as Choreographer in the 2016 Fall Dance Concert, and Choreographer and Director in Women’s Stories: A Narrative Through Movement. At American Dance Festival’s 2017 International Choreographers Concert, she performed in a piece by Lee Kyung-eun.
Hailey Panek (Dancer) St. Peters, MO. Hailey is a senior double-major in BS Theatre and BS Dance. She was recently seen in the Missouri State University productions of Respiro as Dancer and Mostellaria as Scapha/Pinacium. Hailey also served as Marketing Assistant in the 2019 Tent Theatre Season. She holds credits with Tabula Rasa as Elyse in the production of My Sunshine and Ensemble in Miss Julie. Hailey is a recipient of the Theatre Regents Scholarship through Missouri State.
Shayna Rives (Ensemble) Ringwood, NJ. Shayna is a sophomore BFA Musical Theatre major. At Missouri State University, she holds credits as an Understudy in Everybody, Ayah in The Secret Garden, and Ensemble in Oklahoma! in Concert. At Lakeland Regional High School, Shayna played Meredith in Five Woman Wearing the Same Dress and Velma Kelly in Chicago: High School Edition. At Broadway Workshops, she was seen as Ensemble in Sister Act.
Maxwell Ruether (Dancer, Choreographer) Washington, MO. Maxwell is a senior BFA Dance major. He was recently seen at Missouri State University as Macavity and Plato in Cats, as well as a Dancer in the 2019 Spring Dance Concert, Sightlines. Maxwell also holds credits with Springfield Little Theatre as Race in Newsies, and a Dancer in Secret Garden. Maxwell is a recipient of the 2021 Dance Regents Scholarship.
Kyle Sims (Dancer) Kansas City, MO. Kyle is a Dance major.
Alexis Smith (Dancer) Mound Valley, KS. Alexis is a freshman double-major in BS Dance and BA Theatre. She was recently seen at Missouri State University as Dancer in the 2020 Fall Dance Concert. Alexis was also seen at LC Theatre as Marcy Park in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Photographer in Kodachrome, and Betty in Catch Me If You Can.
Josie Walker (Dancer, Film Creator) Joplin, MO. Josie is a senior BFA Dance major. She was recently seen in the Missouri State University productions of Cats as Victoria and a dancer in Sightlines: Spring Dance Concert.
Matt Walter (Dancer, Director) Kearney, MO. Matt is a junior BS Theatre major with a minor in Dance. He has been seen in many Missouri State University productions including a 2021 Senior BFA Dance Project as Loneliness, Love me X Love Me Not with MO State Dance Co. as Dancer, Argonautika as King Pelias and Apsyrtos, Miss Julie as Ensemble, and My Sunshine as Tony. Matt was also seen in Branson Regional Arts Council’s production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame as Soldier and Ensemble. He is the recipient of the Board of Governors and Theatre Regents Scholarships through Missouri State.
Rachel Weaver (Dancer) Desoto, TX. Rachel is a junior double-major in Public Relations and Dance. She was recently seen at Missouri State University as a Dancer in the 2020 Fall Dance Concert. Rachel is a recipient of the Silver Bell Award and a member of the Dean’s List at Missouri State.
Linsey Wilson (Dancer) Branson, MO. Linsey is a freshman BFA Dance major. She was recently seen at Missouri State University as a Dancer in the 2020 Fall Dance Concert. With To The Pointe Dance Productions, Linsey was seen as a Dancer in the To The Pointe Spring Recital.
Justin Zickefoose (Dancer) Nixa, MO. Justin is a freshman Dance major. He holds credits at Springfield Little Theatre as Garven in Footloose, and Buttons in Newsies. Justin also portrayed an Ancestor in the Nixa High School production of The Addams Family.
Angelina Adams (Lighting Designer) Kansas City, MO. Angelina is a senior BFA Design, Technology, and Stage Management major. She previously served as Lighting Designer for the Missouri State University productions of Picnic, Cats, Sightlines: Spring Dance Concert, and She Stoops to Conquer. Angelina also served as Master Electrician for Missouri State’s production of Comedy of Errors. Beyond Missouri State, she served as Local Head Electrician for the Les Miserable Tour with RPG Production Company, Lighting Designer for Cinderella with Springfield Public Schools, and Deck Electrician for The Lion King Rafiki Tour with Disney Productions. Angelina is a recipient of the Regents Scholarship and member of the Dean’s List through Missouri State.
Libby Casey (Production Coordinator) Kansas City, MO. Libby is a senior BFA Design, Technology, and Stage Management major. She recently served as Stage Manager in the Missouri State University productions of The Secret Garden, Crimes of the Heart, and Sightlines: Spring Dance Concert. Libby also served as Assistant Stage Manager in the Tent Theatre productions of Catch Me If You Can and Grease.
Britni Fletcher (Choreographer/Dancer) Milwaukee, WI. Britni is a junior double-major in English-Literature and Dance with a minor in Diversity Studies. She was recently seen as Dancer in the Missouri State University 2020 Fall Dance Concert. Britni is a recipient of the Mo State Dance Co. Scholarship through Missouri State.
