There are many student organizations here on campus that provide opportunities for students to get involved in various areas of theatrical production, including acting, directing, playwrighting, and more. Tabula Rasa Theatre Production Company is one of these organizations, and has recently announced a couple ways students can get involved this fall. Keep reading to get familiar with the company, and find out how you can get involved here on campus.

To start, Tabula Rasa will be hosting “Original One Act Productions.” Students and faculty can submit their own written work to be chosen for production in this showcase. If you have an idea for a one act, or have one previously written, this is a great way to get your work out and produced. Requirements include the piece being 10-15 minutes in length. Submissions are due September 9th, and those chosen will have the choice to either direct their own piece, or have another person direct it for them (even if you’re not the writing type, there is a chance to get some directing experience). Interested in joining the executive board of this theatre production company? Tabula Rasa is accepting executive board applications, which are due Tuesday, September 2nd. There is still time to submit an application for their secretary, treasurer, and social media representative positions.
