Acting? On Camera?!

September 29, 2022 by Lauren Hulsebus

Looking to study acting for the camera? Look no further!

Due to an abundance of interest, the MSU T&D Department has added a Certificate for Acting on Camera. For those wishing to advance their acting abilities on the screen, this is your chance!

Acting on Camera Certificate

Acceptance for the Acting on Camera Certificate is based on audition and application. Current students from any Missouri State University degree may apply, and all auditions will be conducted via digital submission. Some classes included in the Certificate include Acting on Film, Media Production, Screenwriting, and many more. With such a wide range of classes, students will be able to enhance their acting skills in front of the camera, as well as skills involved in producing and writing for film and television. Eighteen credit hours make up this Certificate; a feasible commitment for those interested.

For more information regarding the Acting on Camera Certificate, you can visit the Missouri State University Theatre and Dance Department website and click on the “Audition/Interview for our programs” tab. This will take you to a page that will detail the requirements for submitting an audition.

Good luck to all those who choose to audition!
