We’re excited to announce that Missouri State University is now on Pinterest!
Why Pinterest?
Since Pinterest’s founding in 2010, the visual-based platform has surged to become the third most popular social networking site. Here are a few things Pinterest does well:
- Features visual content in a unique way
- Directs users out to websites and blogs
- Capitalizes on the sharing of evergreen content

Pin with us
We look forward to finding opportunities to partner with University units on Pinterest by creating collaborative pin boards. Collaborative boards will offer University units the opportunity to get their content in front a wider audience, and will also help keep fresh content on the University’s Pinterest account.
To collaborate, we will create pin boards on the Missouri State account that have themes that tie with specific University units. Then, we will add members of those units as collaborators to the boards.
If your unit is interested in creating a collaborative board, please email Courtney Wendel-Stevenson.
