Prediabetes: What’s Happening in My Body? – Tuesday, May 1st (5:15 – 6:30 PM)
Did you know that close to 54 million American adults (that’s 38% of the population!) suffer from prediabetes? Prediabetes is a serious health condition where blood sugars are higher than normal but not yet high enough to be diagnosed as Type 2 diabetes. Come learn about the risk factors for prediabetes and what is happening in the body that leads to these elevated blood sugar levels. You will also learn what you can do to prevent, delay, and even reverse prediabetes.
