The Pursuit of Flavor – Wednesday, April 24th (5:15 – 6:30 PM)
Have you heard the phrase “if it tastes good, spit it out”- the implication being that if food is enjoyable, then it must be bad for you. This is so far from the truth! Naturally delicious, crave-able food should be, and is, highly nutritious In this presentation, you will learn about natural and artificial flavors as well as how you can rediscover flavor’s essential role in your life. We will also talk about developing you own nutritional wisdom, rather than relying on social and environmental influences and cues.
Location: Magers Health & Wellness Center, Room 100
Presenter: Shannon Gigliotti, MS, RDN, LD
