Guillermo Camacho (Memo), Graduate Assistant for the History Department was invited to the Loyola University Chicago, History Graduate Student Conference to present his paper titled “The Drive for Expansionism: A Study of the Mexican-American War and the Fulfillment and Consequences of Manifest Destiny” “The goal of this conference is to provide an opportunity for students to gain experience presenting original research projects and to receive feedback from their peers on their work,” and to be on a panel with both PhD level as well as Master level students is a testament to the quality of Memo’s work.
