Professor receives award from the U.S. Department of Energy

mayanovicDr. Robert Mayanovic, Missouri State University professor of physics and astronomy, received an $85,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Energy via the Carnegie Institute of Washington D.C. for his project entitled, “In-Situ Investigations of Materials under Extreme Conditions in Supercritical Aqueous Fluids.”

“Our project is part of a major nationwide initiative to generate the scientific breakthroughs needed to establish more efficient and cleaner energy applications,” said Mayanovic. “The project will impact the scientific development of undergraduate and graduate students and a postdoctoral researcher in this field of research.”
