Dr. Alicia Mathis, biology department head at Missouri State University, received a renewal grant for $45,916.65 from the National Park Services for the National Park Services (NPS) Vital Signs Monitoring program.
The purpose of this program is to engage university faculty and students in research for the benefit of NPS park natural resources. In addition to data collected, the program also benefits participants by providing educational and professional opportunities to students in the field of natural resources management.
