At the Missouri State Fruit Experiment Station

Master Gardener Fall Fruit Experiment Station Tour

September 15, 2010 by Pam Mayer

Six Tri-County Master Gardeners and four staff from the State Fruit Experiment Station hosted a small, mellow gathering of nineteen interested people for tours and a talk on the history of the Station on the evening of Sept 14. There was sun and a little breeze and we all had a lovely time. Note the winegrapes on the vine in the foreground. We finished the event with a wine tasting of wines from those grape varieties, Chambourcin, Norton and Catawba, and also some Traminette.
