Our High Tunnel Open House was held yesterday afternoon from 1-4pm. Eighty-two people attended the event that featured the MSU high tunnel and the high tunnels and field plantings at Sun Crest farms in Cabool. Jeff and Tammy Johnston of Sun Crest Farms, Wayne Simpson of Simpson’s Family Farm, Norman Kilmer of Morgan County Seed, Tony Bratsch of the University of Missouri Extension Service, Craig Pizarkiewicx of MPR Supply, Giles Paget-Wilkes of Jain Irrigation Company, Shawn High of BWI Companies as well as our State Fruit Experiment Station Faculty and Staff served as presenters and resource personnel at the open house.
