The department of mathematics sponsors four student organizations that focus on professional development, academic excellence and community involvement.
Undergraduates and faculty from Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas and Oklahoma are invited to the third MAKO Undergraduate Mathematics Research Conference Saturday, Nov, 12 at Missouri State University in Cheek Hall, Room 102. The morning session will start at 9 a.m. and the afternoon session will start at 1 p.m.. The highlight of the conference will be short presentations by undergraduates on their research.
