For the first time, the entire campus will be participating in the national RecycleMania contest (http://www.recyclemaniacs.org/overview.htm). “RecycleMania is a friendly competition and benchmarking tool for college and university recycling programs to promote waste reduction activities to their campus communities.” The contest runs from January 17-March 27. During this time, recycling bins will be placed in several buildings on campus. People are highly encouraged to recycle during this time.
