We started out the day a little late which made us miss the Balinese dance performance in the morning. Our tour guide decided to take us to the Batik and wood carving workshops instead. Batik is the style of hand painting on fabric. It is very tedious and it’s important to take proper care of the fabric because the paint is easy to fade since it’s hand painted. We also saw wood carving, which was awesome but too heavy to carry home. It was also more expensive because of the quality and method in which they had to treat the wood.
We then had the most expensive coffee in the world. Kopi Lumak is a type of coffee that has been pooped out by the lumak and washed. It can get as expensive as $500 per cup. The taste was sour and light. For me, I prefer full taste and sweet aromatic coffee. The weasel coffee I had in Dalat was a lot better, but now I can say I’ve had the world’s most expensive coffee!
